Finding an Inmate in Coweta County Jail

Check online before calling. The Sheriff’s Office maintains a searchable inmate roster. Head to the Coweta County Sheriff’s website. Then, find their inmate lookup tool.

Information you’ll need:

  • Complete legal name (not nicknames)
  • Booking number helps narrow it down
  • Birth date speeds up the search

Not showing up online? Pick up the phone. Dial (770) 253-1664 for current information. New bookings take hours to appear in the system. Try again later if they just got arrested.

What the roster tells you:

  • Charges filed against them
  • Bond amount the judge set
  • Upcoming court appearance
  • Housing assignment inside
  • Booking date and time

Arrest doesn’t equal guilt. Most people here haven’t been convicted. They’re waiting for their day in court.
