Attorney Dane M. Garland hails from East Tennessee and earned his B.A. in political science from the University of Tennessee in 2005. After working as a runner for a law firm in Knoxville, he decided to pursue a legal career.
At the time, Dane and his wife were living in Florida, so he applied to and was accepted by St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami.
Following his graduation in 2009, Dane and his wife relocated to Atlanta, where she began working at the Winship Cancer Institute at Emory University, and Dane took a position as an Administrative Hearing Officer with the Georgia Department of Labor. After three years, he left the GA DOL to pursue a Master of Laws (LLM) in Federal Criminal Practice and Procedure at Mercer University School of Law, which he completed in 2013.
Dane has worked, solely in criminal defense, as a public defender, associate attorney, managing partner, and owner over the course of his career and is uniquely qualified to handle your case.
